The Taipei Cultural Center of TECO-NY is delighted to co-host AsianInNY 10th Anniversary Fashion Show on Sept. 22 from 2-4 pm at TF Chen Art Building (335 West 35th St, New York). It would be the most significant Asian fashion runway show during New York Fashion Week. Come to join us!
This year's fashion show will feature five fashion designers and brands including Jessica Chen, Pai Cheng Cheng, Joe Chan, Chelsea Liu and Alexandra Peng Charton. Sponsored by Ministry of Culture, Taiwanese designers Pai Cheng Cheng and Joe Chan would come to New York to display their latest fantastic design for the New York Fashion Week with a fusion of innovation and Asian style.
The runway fashion show will start at 3 pm, and a wonderful cocktail reception and performance will be hosted between 2-3pm. Pai Cheng Cheng was born in Taipei Taiwan. After four years of studying Fashion Design in Shih Chien University, Pai Cheng received his Fashion Design Master Degree from Istituto Marangoni Milano. Pai Cheng established his brand “CHENG PAI CHENG” in October 2014 in Taiwan. Pai Cheng always tries to mix his Italy education background and experience as well as his fun personality into the outfit he creates: bright colors and digital printing are the main features of the brand. Because of his unique tone and print design, CHENG PAI CHENG design has dressed and collaborated with numerous famous artists and singers. All major media outlets in Asia have reported Pai Cheng’s collections.

Joe Chan is from Taiwan and studied in Paris from 2010. He finished his study in ECOLE DE LA CHAMBRE SYNDICALE DE LA HAUTE COUTURE PARISIENNE and had interned in RICK OWENS showroom, AMERICAN RETRO and French womenswear label KOCHÉ, later also worked as an assistant designer in KOCHÉ till the end of 2015. After his more than five years lifetime in Paris, he decided to return to Taipei and started his menswear label TSUNG YU CHAN in 2016. Harper’s Bazaar 150 Years The Greatest Moments also invited Joe to create a special limited version t-shirt in 2017. Joe strives to bring his creativity and design from Europe back to Taiwan to combine with traditional Taiwanese techniques to create a modern style yet wearable high-end menswear.
