The Taiyuan Puppet Theatre Company, invited by 2012 CIBC LunarFest, will perform The Boy, the Shark and the Sea in Toronto's Harbourfront Centre from January 20 to 24 and in Vancouver Art Gallery Plaza Theatre from February 1 to 5. There will be 12 free performances, 7 in Toronto and 5 in Vancouver. Please join us and enjoy the show with your family.
This production, which features lessons about our interactions with the natural environment, tells the story of a boy, his tarot-root-doppelganger, a friendly shark and the community around them. Audiences will have a chance to interact with the puppets and puppeteers after each performance.
