Our festivity will feature a moon guitar (yueqin) workshop by a visiting theater troupe from Taiwan’s Hengchun Peninsula.

Explore the rich tapestry of Taiwan’s unique Hengchun folk music through captivating stories of its origin and evolution. Immerse yourself in the enchanting sounds of the moon guitar (yueqin) during a live instrument demonstration, and participate in a fun workshop where attendees can experience playing the instrument themselves.
